宮崎ハロー英会話のミニレッスン54: Do you have bushy eyebrows?
This is my first mini lesson for a little while-sorry! I was away for the summer vacation and I couldn’t write any lessons, but I am back at work now so I will try harder.
This year we went camping at Kijo, Miyazaki. It was a great place with a really nice river to swim in. One day we found this strange creature. I had NO IDEA what it was and someone said it was a “Gejigeji” !!! My dictionary says “Gejigeji” is “House Centipede” in English but I think no-one would understand this. Maybe Gejigeji is gejigeji in English too!
Anyway, I learnt some interesting Japanese: げじげじまゆ!
In English we say “Bushy Eyebrows”.
We usually use “Bushy” for body hair or animal parts – bushy beard, bushy mustache, bushy tail.
