宮崎ハロー英会話のミニレッスン 33: He stole the show!

I saw this cute video today of a young toddler stealing the show.

A ‘toddler’ means a very young child, usually around 2 or 3 years old- old enough to walk but still wearing nappies/ diapers. ‘Steal the show’ means to get all the attention in a show or an event. In this case the toddler’s father was on stage singing but when the boy started dancing, HE became the star-not his father, so he “stole the show”.

Have a great weekend,

Duncan
