This is my son, Sena. He is 5 years old and is really into dinosaurs! When he was 3, he was really into “Thomas the Tank Engine” and when he was 4 he was into “Chuggington” which is another TV program about trains. But now he’s into dinosaurs! He LOVES dinosaurs! He has 3 dinosaur books, dinosaur lego and about 30 dinosaur toys. He even sleeps with dinosaurs!!

If someone is strongly interested in something, we say “He is into XXX”.  The grammar is “SUBJECT + BE verb + into + NOUN”. It’s a casual expression we use for likes, interests and hobbies. A lot of my students are into studying English! Are you?
